Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CeiptSavor. By creating an account you agree to them.
What CeiptSavor does
CeiptSavor lets you photograph receipts, extracts the details automatically, stores them with the original image, and lets you export the result as a spreadsheet.
What CeiptSavor is not
We are not accountants and this is not tax advice. CeiptSavor is a record-keeping tool. Expense categories are a convenience for organising your records — whether an expense is deductible, and how it should be treated, is a question for your accountant or tax professional.
Extraction is automated and can be wrong. Details are read from your images by software and presented for you to confirm before filing. You are responsible for checking every figure. We are not liable for errors in your books or tax filings arising from unchecked data.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and using CeiptSavor for a business.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
- One account represents one business ledger. Do not share credentials.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
Your data belongs to you
You retain all rights to your receipts and the data extracted from them. We store and process it only to provide the service. You can export everything as a CSV at any time, and you can ask us to delete it.
Record retention is your responsibility
Tax authorities generally require source documents to be kept for at least three years, and longer in some circumstances. CeiptSavor stores your receipts and images, and we take reasonable steps to keep them safe — but we are not a system of record for legal purposes. Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. Exporting your CSV periodically is a sensible habit.
Availability
We aim to keep CeiptSavor running, but it is provided on an "as is" basis without a guaranteed uptime commitment. Maintenance, provider outages, or issues outside our control may interrupt the service.
Acceptable use
Do not use CeiptSavor to store unlawful content, attempt to access another account's data, probe or disrupt the service, or resell access without a written agreement with us.
Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time. Pilot accounts are free for the agreed period; we will tell you before any charging begins.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to CeiptSavor is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, tax penalties, or the cost of reconstructing records.
Ending your account
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data unless the breach makes that inappropriate.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders before taking effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States.
